If you are based within our delivery areas, you will receive your order on the evening before your cleanse start date and every two days throughout the programme, so that you have the order ready when you wake up in the morning.

This also enables us to provide our extensive variety of cold-pressed juices, wellness shots, almond blends and soups.

We use a commercial cold-press juicer to make our cold-pressed juices, wellness shots and almond blends meaning that they will remain fresh for only three days, provided they are refrigerated as instructed (see Our Products section).

You will receive:

One delivery for a one or two day cleanse

Two deliveries for a three or four day cleanse

Three deliveries for a five or six day cleanse

We strive to ensure the most convenient service for you every step of the way. This is also the most environmentally-friendly option for us, since it keeps our delivery kilometres low.

We deliver all Frozen orders once, on the evening before your start date between 6pm and 9pm.

Our cold-pressed juices, wellness shots, almond blends and soups are made to order on the same day you collect or receive them.

Our Fresh products have a three-day shelf life from the time they are produced. It is very important that you keep them refrigerated between 1°C and 4°C at all times.

At The Detox Company, our ingredients are certified organic. We are proud to partner with trusted local suppliers and farms to use the freshest organic produce available.

On the extremely rare occasion that we are unable to source an organic ingredient from our trusted suppliers, we may have to supplement with non-organic produce. We strive to avoid this at all costs. Please note that salt cannot certified organic as it is not cultivated and does not require fertilizers, pesticides or other chemicals. 

The produce has natural variations and therefore so do our blends. Tastes and colours may vary due to the natural or seasonal variations.

At The Detox Company our cold-pressed juices, wellness shots and almond blends are produced using the highest quality press mechanism. We use a commercial cold-press juicer with a hydraulic press to extract the nutrients of whole organic fruits, vegetables and tree nuts. After grinding the whole organic ingredients into a fine pulp, the hydraulic press applies thousands of kilograms of pressure, extracting every millilitre of juice that the fruit, vegetable or tree nut can possibly yield.

This method slowly extracts juice from fresh produce without heat, thereby retaining the most nutrients possible. The pressing process also ensures minimal oxidization, which is why our Fresh products can be refrigerated for up to three days.

Traditional juicing exposes ingredients to more oxygen and heat which can damage the nutrients. We do not we add heat at any stage of our pressing process.

All products are freshly made then immediately blast frozen to protect and preserve the nutrients, texture and flavour.

Our Frozen products can be stored in the freezer for up to two months after they are produced, without compromising the nutrient value, flavour profile and texture.

• The best way to defrost our Frozen products is to place them in a recipient filled with cold water in the refrigerator 12h to 24h prior to consuming.
• If you are cleansing, defrost all of the products from each day at a time in cold water, in the fridge, on the evening before.
• Never use warm or hot water in the defrosting process.
• After defrosting, keep all products refrigerated and consume within 24 hours. Do not re-freeze.

Our half day cleanses are completed in the late afternoon and should end with a light, nourishing dinner. We recommend half day cleanses to anyone who wants to experience some of the benefits of cleansing but would prefer less of a time and/or dietary commitment.

In contrast, our full day cleanses provide a full day of cold-pressed juices, wellness shots, almond blends and/or soups to
consume each day of your cleanse plan, without the inclusion of meals.

We recommend doing a full day cleanse monthly to seasonally, and a half day cleanse weekly to monthly.

While deeply nourishing, our cleanse programmes are also calorically restrictive, so for more frequent use we recommend that you listen to your body and consult your doctor for personalised guidance.

While the outcome of weight loss varies from person to person, we emphasise that this is a complex long-term process.

We view our cleanses as a period of digestive rest with a heightened nutrient intake to reset and recalibrate - a time to reconnect with your body and a consistent practice that supports and elevates your wellness routine.

Our aim is to provide you with a nourishing and flavourful experience that supports overall wellbeing, allowing your body to find its own balance.

Yes in all likelihood you will but the detox symptoms vary in intensity from person to person. These may include headaches, fatigue, body aches,  gastrointestinal issues, nausea, skin breakouts and/or bloating. This is completely normal as your body gathers and flushes out stored toxins. The more prepared you are for your cleanse (eating wholefood, balanced meals, reducing alcohol, caffeine, packaged/processed foods, sugar, etc.), the less likely you will experience symptoms and if you do, the quicker they will be alleviated.

While on a cleanse programme we encourage you to be gentle with yourself and we recommend that you avoid activities that place stress on the body, such as high-intensity exercise. Try a relaxing walk, swim or gentle yoga class during your cleanse.
